Input Voltage Windows:

In situations where there is a reasonably good mains supply, a Stabiliser offering an input variation swing of ±15% (S15 Models) will usually be more than acceptable, but in more remote locations, or countries where the national supply infrastructure is less developed, variations of ±20% (S20) or greater ±25% (S25) to ±50% (S50) may be needed to be accommodated by the Stabiliser.

TIP – The wider the permissible input voltage window you wish the Stabiliser to be able to accommodate , the more expensive the Stabiliser. So, when selecting the most appropriate and cost efficient model for your application, it pays to know the state of the utility mains supply on site and the designed input voltage tolerances of the load equipment you wish to protect.

Output Voltage Accuracy:

In general, when suppliers of today’s modern electrical and electronic equipment design their products they do so knowing that most electrical utilities around the world cannot provide, or promise, better than a ±5% output voltage accuracy of nominal and as such they design their equipment so it is able to operate efficiently within this range.

ESR Stabilisers are specifically designed to meet the requirements of today’s modern loads, with the output voltage accuracy set (as default) to deliver optimal energy efficiency and design life expectancy at ±3% , however they are easily site-adjustable to deliver a more or less precise output voltage accuracy – as considered most appropriate for a client’s particular site needs.

Offered as standard in IP20 / NEMA 1 Style floor standing air-cooled cubicles, ESR Stabilisers are built utilising a rigid framework construction, offering front door access and removable side panels for ease of installation and servicing.

Supplied with bottom cable entry (top entry on C70 style enclosures or to specific order), all cubicles are offered  complete with an epoxy powder heavy duty Pebble Grey (RAL 7032) orange peel paint finish.

Where deemed appropriate ESR stabiliser can also, on individual request, be supplied in robust IP54 / NEMA 3 Style enclosures – ideal for outdoor applications or more demand indoor environments.

Input Voltage Windows:

In situations where there is a reasonably good mains supply, a Stabiliser offering an input variation swing of ±15% (S15 Models) will usually be more than acceptable, but in more remote locations, or countries where the national supply infrastructure is less developed, variations of ±20% (S20) or greater ±25% (S25) to ±50% (S50) may be needed to be accommodated by the Stabiliser.

TIP – The wider the permissible input voltage window you wish the Stabiliser to be able to accommodate , the more expensive the Stabiliser. So, when selecting the most appropriate and cost efficient model for your application, it pays to know the state of the utility mains supply on site and the designed input voltage tolerances of the load equipment you wish to protect.

Output Voltage Accuracy:

In general, when suppliers of today’s modern electrical and electronic equipment design their products they do so knowing that most electrical utilities around the world cannot provide, or promise, better than a ±5% output voltage accuracy of nominal and as such they design their equipment so it is able to operate efficiently within this range.

ESR Stabilisers are specifically designed to meet the requirements of today’s modern loads, with the output voltage accuracy set (as default) to deliver optimal energy efficiency and design life expectancy at ±3% , however they are easily site-adjustable to deliver a more or less precise output voltage accuracy – as considered most appropriate for a client’s particular site needs.

Offered as standard in IP20 / NEMA 1 Style floor standing air-cooled cubicles, ESR Stabilisers are built utilising a rigid framework construction, offering front door access and removable side panels for ease of installation and servicing.

Supplied with bottom cable entry (top entry on C70 style enclosures or to specific order), all cubicles are offered  complete with an epoxy powder heavy duty Pebble Grey (RAL 7032) orange peel paint finish.

Where deemed appropriate ESR stabiliser can also, on individual request, be supplied in robust IP54 / NEMA 3 Style enclosures – ideal for outdoor applications or more demand indoor environments.
